5. TUKISHINDWA KUJIZUIA JE, TUTAWEZA KUZUIA UKIMWI?
Katika maisha mara nyingi kuna kushinda na kushindwa. Wapo watu wengi walioshinda katika maisha na pia wapo watu wengi vilevile walioshindwa katika maisha. Watu wengi kawaida hujitahidi kutafuta ushindi katika mitihani, katika mashindano mbalimbali, katika vita na katika maisha kwa jumla. Ushindi ndilo lengo la kila mtu. Kushindwa ni matokeo ya udhaifu fulani katika utendaji. Kwa mtu mwenye akili timamu kushindwa si jambo la kujivunia, kushindwa ni kasoro, kushindwa sio lengo ni upungufu katika kufikia lengo. Kushindwa ni aibu hasa katika yale mambo ambayo tuna uwezo nayo. Hakuna mtu anayejivunia kushindwa labda kama kuna tatizo mahali! Hakuna mzazi mwenye upendo wa kweli atakayempongeza na kumpa zawadi mwanae eti kwa sababu ameshindwa mtihani shuleni! Huyo mtoto vilevile akipongezwa kwa kushindwa mtihani hatakaa afanye juhudi ya kushinda mtihani tena.
Kizazi chetu kimekumbwa na janga kubwa sana la UKIMWI ambalo limemgusa kila mmoja wetu. Wengi wamekufa kwa gonjwa hili na bado mamilioni ni waathirika! Dawa yake bado hata haijaingia katika ndoto zetu! Tunalofanya ni kujitahidi kupambana nalo kulizuia lisienee zaidi. Hii ni vita kubwa iliyo mbele yetu ambayo serikali, mashirika mbalimbali, vyombo vya dini na hata watu binafsi tunajitahidi kupigana. Tunapoendelea na vita hii ni vema tuangalie mbinu tunazozitumia kama kweli zina mafanikio au la. Zipo mbinu za kufaa kama kuacha kabisa zinaa, kusubiri hadi ndoa na kuwa mwaminifu katika ndoa. Lakini mbinu inayoendekeza kushindwa hata kabla ya kupambana si tu kwamba haifai bali inaongeza maambukizi zaidi. Naomba tuangazie kwa makini hii njia ya kupambana na UKIMWI inayosema “Ukishindwa kujizuia, tumia kinga”
Ni kweli na ushahidi upo kuwa wapo watu tena ambao wameonekana na busara zao, wameanguka katika jambo hili. Na inawezekana kabisa kuwa hata idadi ya watu wanaoanguka ni kubwa zaidi. Hii haiwezi kutufanya tuhalalishe kuwa kuanguka ndio jambo lililo sahihi. Mfano: ikitokea, japo hatuombi iwe hivyo, kuwa zaidi ya nusu ya Watanzania wameugua Malaria, hatuwezi kusema kuwa kwa kuwa waliougua ni wengi, basi yule mwenye Malaria ndiye mwenye afya njema. Ukweli utabaki kuwa mwenye Malaria ndiye mgonjwa. Hatuwezi kuhalalisha uzinzi eti kwa sababu watu wengi wanashindwa kujizuia.
Wanadamu licha ya udhaifu wetu, kwa kumtumainia Mungu, tunao uwezo wa kujizuia katika dhambi kwani Mungu ni mwaminifu; hatatuacha tujaribiwe kupita uwezo wetu. (1Kor. 10:13). Mababa wa Kanisa katika Mtaguso Mkuu wa Pili wa Vatikano wamegusia suala hili katika ujumbe wao kwa Kanisa la Ulimwengu (The Church in the Modern World). Wanasema kuwa mtu kwa akili yake anapita viumbe vyote vyenye mwili na kuwa anashiriki katika akili ya Mungu mwenyewe. Hivyo licha ya udhaifu wake, bado anao uwezo wa kushinda maelekeo yake ya dhambi akisaidiwa na Mungu. “Japo anaona mwilini mwake maelekeo mabaya, yaliyo mapato ya dhambi, cheo chake na nafasi yake hudai amsifu Mungu kwa mwili wake pia, asiwe mtumwa wa maelekeo yake mabaya.” (Gaudium et Spes No.14.). Hivyo kushindwa kujizuia ni utumwa, ni kujiweka katika kundi la wanyama ambao hawakujaliwa akili, sio jambo la kujivunia wala kusema hadharani kama wasemavyo “Ukishindwa kujizuia, tumia kinga”.
Mwanafalsafa mkongwe Socrates analinganisha uovu na ujinga. Anasema kuwa binadamu wanaotenda maovu ni kwa sababu ya ujinga kwani binadamu mwelevu hatendi maovu. Pia anasema kuwa uovu ni kama ugonjwa. Hivyo mtu akianguka katika uovu, inambidi amtafute mtu amwadhibu kama jinsi ambavyo mgonjwa anamtafuta daktari ili atibiwe. Mwanafalsafa huyu alipenda kusistiza kuwa uovu ni hali ya kupungukiwa katika maisha ya mwanadamu wala sio sifa nzuri mtu kuwa mwovu!
Sasa sisi watu wa Milenia ya tatu tunaupamba uovu badala ya kupambana nao. Ni kweli kwamba watu wengi hasa vijana siku hizi wanaendekeza uzinzi na uasherati kiasi kwamba vitu hivi vinaonekana si dhambi tena (loss of the sense of sin), ila tu ni sehemu ya maisha. Viongozi wa serikali, wadau mbalimbali na hata baadhi ya wazazi wamechukua jukumu eti ili kuwaokoa vijana na taifa lisiangamie kwa UKIMWI, wanawashauri, kuwaasa na hata kutumia gharama kubwa sana kufanya kampeini kuwafundisha watu - vijana na hata watoto wadogo namna ya kutumia kinga mara wanaposhindwa kujizuia. Mbinu hii inashusha maadili na nidhamu kwa kasi kubwa sana . Mtu hafanyi bidii yoyote kujiepusha na uovu ila anasubiria tu ashindwe kujizuia. Wasiwasi wangu mkubwa ni pale ambapo mtu ameshindwa kujizuia kufanya bila kinga, itakuwaje? Si atafanya hivyo hivyo tu? (au kama wasemavyo atatembea peku)? Na matokeo yake itakuwa ni nini? Je wabakaji wakishindwa kujizuia itakuwaje? Wezi wakishindwa kujizuia? Majambazi wakishindwa kujizuia? Wala rushwa je? Mafisadi? Kama mtu ameshindwa kujizuia kufanya uovu ambao husababisha kifo ni heri taifa liangamie kwa gonjwa la UKIMWI kuliko kuendekeza vitendo hivi viovu ambavyo huamsha ghadhabu ya Mungu. Heri kufa kuliko kuishi bila maadili. Ikumbukwe kuwa Mungu anao uwezo wa kuliangamiza taifa hili hata kwa sekunde kuliko hata ambavyo UKIMWI ungeweza.

Abantu tuli bagoke! Mara muno. Kashoke nayemera kugamba ati ‘ inye akauka naukabaga, tugambe akauka nka mugurukira okweenda, naukabaga. Iwe tekereza mugurukira okweenda waugibagisaki? Iwe mwana-BAWA aga maijalelo! Ngalinda namanya ngu okukwatira Kashamaza embwa kugikama tikigoko! Iwe Ngalinda okukwatira Kashamaza embwa kagikama kigoko, naiwe na Kashamaza nikyo kimoi, mulibagoke. Timbilimu na mbifamuki nibo bamoi. Iwe Ngalinda ayakugambiire ati kukwata embwa tikigoko nohai? Kuruga kireki omanye okwo kili kigoko.

@We have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wide free ways but narrow points.
@We spend more, but have less. We buy more but we have less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more convenience but lesser time.
@We have more degrees but less senses, more knowledge but less judgment. More experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.
@We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.
@We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
@We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
@We have been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a neighbor.
@We have conquered outer space but not inner space.
@We have done larger things, but not better things.
@We have cleared up the air, but polluted the soul.
@We have conquered the atom, but not our prejudice.
@We write more but learn less.
@We plan more but accomplish less.

Ogu nigwo muturanwa gw’Eklezia ya mbere, mara Enteeko yambere Enke ey’Ekikiristu Yezu atembire omwiguru na Mwoyo Mutakatifu yabaijwire. (Bik. 1:10; 2:4). Ogu nigwo muturanwa ogwo Yezu yagonzaga kaguba gw’abahondezi be boona, kuba hamoi nk’okwo wenene na Ishe bali hamoi (Yn. 17:20), mara engonzi omuli bonene zibe nizo zibamayisa okwo bali ba Kristu. Kerygma: Okujulira n’okwegesa okuhimbuka kw’Omukama waitu Yezu Kirisitu nk’Entumwa za Kirisitu. (IKor. 15: 1- 15).
Diakonia: Kweihayo kakiimoi aha rw’okukolera banu, mara boona enzira kusholoora kya Yezu Kirisitu ayayehireyo kakiimoi aha rwa Ishe na aha rwa bangi (Mk. 10:45;14:22-26).
Enteeko ezi muhanda nyakabara mbali Ekelezia elikushangwa omu bulora bwa buli kiro n’omukwetaho abantu boona omu milolere yabo. Nimwo Ekelezia elikwegira “mubili” “n’obwamba” omu milolere ya buli kiro y’abantu boona. Omu nteeko ezihamire, nimwo abantu balikubasa kumanya ekyebisho kya Kirisitu okwo ali omuli bonene (Immanuel) (Mt. 1:23). Tukole Enteeko zaitu zibe muterano nyakabara gw’okubegana hamoi Engonzi za Kirisitu, tugonjanyie ichwe chwenene omu ngonzi nyakabara nk’okwo Kirisitu yagondize Ekelezia, n’okwehayo kugitakatifuza, kugiha omu buhagare bwayo (Efe. 5: 21 – 33). Omukugonjanyia okwo nimwo tulamanyirwaho okwo tuli ba Yezu Kirisitu. (Yn. 13:35).
Ekigambo kya Mungu kibe nchuro y’obulora bw’okwombeka Enteeko z’Ekikirisitu ezihamire, mara kibe mbibo omu myoyo yaitu, naichwe tukishogashogye kibase kuzara ebiraba birungi (Mk. 4: 8,14 - 20), ebiraba byakyo mara bibe kyakulya mazima ky’okulisa emyoyo yaitu (Mt.4:4). Aha rwekyo, tuteebwa buli kanya kuterana hamoi n’okubegerangana Ekigambo kya Mungu, mantisi, kiba mbanda y’okutukumya abasitani, embanda eyo tutungwa Mwoyo Mutakatifu. (Efe. 6:17). Omukumuhabwa kurungi, tujwangana nawe, aho alolera omul’ichwe (Filp.1:21); kandi ashuba atukanyisiza obulora bw’enema omu myoyo yaitu; atuha amani g’okusinga ebilengeso mara n’omukwato gw’okuhimbuka (Yn. 6:54 -58) Twijuke kandi okwo Yezu wenene aba nyakatetere, aho naichwe tutaziza kumunyegeza tutashemeize bugobero niyo myoyo yaitu. Manyasi omugenyi Omukunirwa mara omushoni atyo atekatekerwa obugobero obusaine ekitinwa kye! Aho katwakumunyegeza omu buhagare, omushango gwaitu guhango! (IKor. 11: 27- 30). Omuhanda gukuru gw’oumushereza obugobero akagutusigira orwo yamazire kuhimbuka omu bafu, nilyo isakaramentu lya Penitensia (Yn. 20: 22-23).
Tubase kwombeka kwo Rwensinga ya Kirisitu ehamire tuteho amaani kulora nk’okwo Wenene alikutulagira katulora: “…kakuli kuranga, turange nk’okwo okwesiga kwaitu kuli. Kalili ikora, tukore, araba ayegesa, ayegese. Araba agira akalyo k’okuchumbiza, achumbize; araba amanya kuha banu abahe ataina kabajoka. Ajuna, ajune n’ekihika; ow’obuganyizi, agire obuganyizi nashemelerwa. Engonzi ziruge aha mutima. Munobe ebibi, mwekwate ebirungi. Mugonzangane engonzi z’oburumuna; mukirangane omu kukunirangana … ababagingiza mubagambege; mubahe omugisha, mutabaraama. Abalikushanduuka mushanduuke nabo, abalikulira mulire nabo … komubisha wawe araba ain’enjara, omuhe ak’okulya; k’araba ain’eliho, omuhe ak’okunywa. Omu kugir’otyo oraba n’omukwasa enshoni zingi muno. Omutima gubi gutakukiza maani; omutima gubi ogusingise omutima gurungi.” (Rom. 12: 6b – 21).

Baijure ebiraba bya Mwoyo Mutakatifu: “engonzi, ebyera, obwegumisiliza, obufura, oburungi bw’omutma, obwesigwa, obuchulezi, okwetanga …” (Gal. 5: 22 -23).
Enteeko ezemile zityo, mara nizilora okwo Kirisito alikugonza zakuba nyomyo zirungi mara ezihamire z’okwombeka Rwensinga ya Ruhanga; Rwensinga elikweyemera; Rwensiga elikwelandisiliza mara Rwensinga elikwegerela omu butwazi! Egi niyo Rwensinga ya Kirisito, Omusaserdoti Mukuru, Omurangi mara Omukama; maraEnyomyo y’engambiro ya Rwensinga ye, Ogu nigwo mubili gwe ogwina engingo zingi mara buli rugingo niruhikya obulagirwa bwarwo omu ngonzi nyakabara! (Rom. 12: 4-5; IKor. 12:12 – 27).
Mpaho tulitemu enkeika, tutemu amaani buli omoi omu mwanya gw’alimu n’omubulagirwa bwainabwo kuba nyomyo ehamire y’okwombeka Rwensinga ya Kirisito, okukiraho katuragumisa Enteeko Ezikezike ez’Ekikirisito! 9. WHICH IS THE TRUE DEVOTION TO OUR BLESSED LADY?
Day by day, from end to end of the earth, in the highest heavens, in the lowest abyss all things preach, all things proclaim the wondrous Mary. The nine choirs of angels, human creatures of whatever sex, age, condition, religion, be they good or evil, and even the demons are compelled by force of truth, willing or unwilling to call her Blessed.
Hence devotion to Our Blessed Lady is the most holy and best devotion, after the devotion to Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. However, it is necessary to choose rightly the TRUE devotion to Our Blessed Lady, for there are false devotions to her which can easily be mistaken for true ones. The devil has already deceived and damned so many souls by means of false devotion to Our Lady that he makes use of his diabolical experience to damn many others, fooling them, lulling them to sleep in sin under the pretext of some prayers badly said or some exterior practices of devotion which he suggests to them.
It is then very important, first of all to know false devotions to Our Blessed Lady in order to avoid them and then to know the true devotion in order to embrace it.
False devotions to Our Blessed Lady.
These are sevenfold:-
1. Critical Devotees: These are for the most part proud scholars, strong-minded and self sufficient people, who have in the main some devotion to the Blessed Virgin, but who criticize nearly all practices of devotion to her, which ordinary people perform simply and piously in honour of this good Mother just because these practices are not according to their own fancy. These believe in nothing and criticize everything.
2. Scrupulous Devotees: These fear to dishonour the son by honouring the mother , to humiliate the one by exalting the other. It annoys them to see more people kneeling before the altar/statue of the Blessed Virgin than before the Blessed Sacrament, as if one were contrary to the other, or as if those who pray to Our Blessed Lady did not pray to Jesus through her.
However, it does not mean here therefore that Mary is more than Jesus or even equal to Him, but in order to bless Jesus more perfectly we must first bless Mary as we say in the Hail Mary, “Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus”
3. External Devotees: These make their devotion to Our Blessed Lady consist in exterior practices, because they lack the interior spirit. They say many Rosaries with great haste, take part in her processions, join all her confraternities without amending their lives, without putting any constraint on their evil passions and without imitating the virtues of this most holy virgin.
However, the exterior composure must not be neglected but should come out of and accompany the true devotion.
4. Presumptuous Devotees: These are sinners given up to their evil passions or lovers of the world who under the fair name of Christians and devotees of Our Blessed Lady, conceal their pride, avarice, impurities, drunkenness, anger, blaspheming, slandering, injustice etc, who sleep peacefully in their evil habits, without making much effort to correct themselves, under the pretext that they are devoted to the Blessed Virgin - as they say the Rosary, fast on Saturdays, belong to her confraternities or Sodalities wear the little habit/chain of the Blessed virgin etc.
5. Inconstant Devotees: These are devout to Our Blessed Lady by fits and starts. At one moment they are fervent and at the next lukewarm. They begin by adopting all devotions to Our Lady, join her confraternities, then they do not observe the rules with fidelity or abandon them altogether at the slightest temptation. They change like the moon (which is ever - changing in phases) and with the moon Mary puts them beneath her feet.
6. Hypocritical Devotees: These cover their sins and evil habits under the mantle of this faithful Virgin so as to appear to their fellow men different from what they are. These join confraternities and wear badges of Our Lady in order to appear good.
7. Self- interested Devotees: These have recourse to Our Lady only to win some lawsuit, to escape danger, to be cured of some illness or for some similar need, otherwise they would not think of her.
All these false devotees are acceptable neither to God nor to His holy Mother. Let us beware of joining them.
Having exposed and condemned the false devotions to the Blessed Virgin, let us turn to the true one.
True Devotion to Our Blessed Lady
1. True devotion is interior: The devotion should come from the spirit and the heart. It has to flow from the esteem in which we hold her, from the high opinion we have gained of her greatness and from the love which we bear her.
2. True devotion is tender: The devotion should be full of confidence in its loving mother. We have to implore our mother’s help at all times, in all places and in all things: in doubts, to be enlightened; in wonderings, to be set aright; in temptations, to be supported; in weakness, to be strengthened; in falls, to be lifted up; in discouragement, to be heartened; in scruples, to be freed from them; in crosses, trials and disappointments of life ,to be consoled as well as in our ills of body and soul, let our habitual refuge be in Mary, without fear of importuning her or of displeasing Jesus.
3. True Devotion is holy: The devotion should lead us to avoid sin and to imitate virtues particularly the ten principal virtues of the Blessed virgin,namely:deep humility, lively faith, blind obedience, continual prayer, universal mortification, divine purity, ardent charity, heroic patience, angelic meekness and divine wisdom.
4. True Devotion is constant: The devotion has to strengthen us in doing good and prevail upon us not to abandon easily our practices of devotion. It makes us courageous in opposing the world with its fashions and maxims, the flesh with its vexations and passions and the devil with his temptations. Our Blessed Lady is not changeable,fretful, scrupulous or timid. One may fall but through constant devotion, rises again, stretching out his/her hand to his/her good Mother.
5. True devotion is disinterested: The devotion should prompt us to seek not ourselves but God alone in His Blessed Mother. The true devotees, love Mary not so much because she sends them favours or because they expect any from her, but because she is lovable. This is why they love and serve her as faithfully in spiritual weariness and dryness as in spiritual sweetness and sensible fervour. They love her as much on Calvary as at the wedding feast of Cana .

esus works marvels in a joyous person. The person, who puts his/her trust in Jesus’ presence in his/her life, receives the true happiness that can only be measured by divine love. Therefore, in order that you be truly happy, joyful, you need to walk in Jesus’ steps-taking-in-the front line, the life of Jesus Christ-the life of divine love and self-surrender. You are to submit your life to God, who out of love, Agape, sent His beloved son, Jesus Christ, to come and live among us, in our human body, so that through His life, we may know the way to relate properly, with right conviction to the Father through the Empowerment of His Holy Spirit. It is this right relating with God, as His sons in the son; through the Holy Spirit that renders a person truly happy and joyous.

thers look for your true love; the love which originates in Christ Himself, who came to teach us how to love; to love unconditionally. It is your love to others that will set you free and make you happy and ever happy if you keep it. The true love to others is, as Thomas Merton says in his book, “No man is an Island “ ‘to will what is really good for them’ True love seeks one thing only: the good of the one loved. It leaves all the secondary effects to take care of them-selves. Love, therefore, is its own reward. Love does not seek a joy that follows from its effects: its joy is in the effect itself, which is the good of the beloved. Consequently, if your love is pure, you do not even have to seek for yourself the satisfaction of loving. The good your love seeks in the beloved will give you joy and indeed true joy.

ou are to love yourself too. You cannot give what you don’t have. The true love of your self will catalyze the true love of others. It is a selfless love that enables one to love others in equal measure that he does to himself; this is loving others according to the truth, because, if you love your brothers according to the truth, your love for them will be true not only to them but also to yourself. This type of love rewards the subject with true joy. Remember, “The man who loves himself too much is incapable of loving anyone effectively, including himself.”[1]
In order to love others with perfect charity, I must be true to God, to them and to myself. It is only this kind of love that will grant anyone the “True Joy”

11. “GARUKA ... GARUKA!”
Waitu iwe mushomi wa akaandiko aka “ GARUKA”, ninkulariza obase kukwata akashango kawe kake kushoma, kwega, kugoshora n’okwiyamu ebitagendage, kukiraho kubasa kwiiyamu eby’okutwegesa ichwe nka abanya- Bawa hamoi n’okwegesa abandi orwo na bonene nibetaga kwega ebishagireho orw’enshonga ensi nayo negenda n’obwangu etalinzire muntu wenawena, shana omuntu kwiruka nayo. Waitu aho kuhonderana n’enshamba y’Omuhaya ati ‘Abingire isho katakagarukire oti tata kyonkai airuka’, naichwe tugendelere kuchwazika kuiga ebilatujuna n’okujuna abandi. Bagira bati, “Akaranga obulora tagwisa mukono”.
Kuhonderana n’ekitekerezo kya “Garuka”, aho na ichwena nitulalizibwa twebaze okugaruka nikyo kiki anga nikwo kugambaki? Kandi aho ntakuraizeyo, katulikugamba okugaruka kisaine tumanye tulihai, kandi turugire nkahai, kaanya aka, isi nitugya nkahai? Kumara kumanya ebi aho turaba twamanyire nituragirwa kugaruka kugya nkahai, kandi omuli bihai na rubaju ruhai.Nakyo ekyo tikimazire nituragirwa kumanya mbali twaba nitugya. Kabitali bityo aho si tufe kugaruka tutaina kishasize ekiratugarura? Chei, enshonga emazire nayo neyetagwa muno tubase kugaruka.

EMYEGESEZE Y’ABANA:

Inye nindenga nti chei wenene nayegesa abana aba nk’abanabe mara n’ebyo alikubaha anga kubegesa nabyo bibe birungi omubulora bwabo. 12. HAVE A ‘CREED OF LIFE’
Our various efforts to shape our personality need a unity, a philosophy of life- a creed of life. Without it one would always suffer from intellectual confusion and indecisiveness.
Many authors have written much as regards the need of having a creed of life in building a balanced personality, but have been very careful not to present anyone as a model. This is because many have been betrayed even by those whom they trusted most. In fact, it is only Christ who showed an excellent level of commitment to his creed of life.
Christ our model had a creed of life: “To do the will of He who sent me”1 A slogan which was very clear throughout his life. Indeed, until the end. In this attempt, our principal source is the Holy Scriptures, as it is the source we cannot do without. “For the ignorance of Scriptures is ignorance of Christ”2 St. Jerome warns.
· Have your creed of life well defined.
Christ revealed the content of his slogan “To do the will of Him who sent me”, which reflected his fundamental call, mission and vision. That “I should lose nothing of all that he has given to me but I should raise it up on the last day”3
· Find pleasure in doing according to your creed of life.
Christ having done according to his creed of life felt his thirsty quenched, his stomach filled and his heart contented. Christ had courage to say to his disciples, who had brought him something to eat, that: “My food is to do the will of the one who sent me”4
· Share your commitment to the creed of life with others.
The pray of Our Father reflects the wish of Christ that his disciples too, make his creed of life their own. Christ taught his discipleshow to pray: “You should pray like this, Our Father… your will be done”5
· Your creed of life during the ‘dark hours’.
It may be a crisis of life or confidence, where you find yourself in a situation in which you have stopped believing in the validity or goodness of your creed of life. It is the time you need to pray most. Christ too suffered such moments, but he prayed, the will of his Father to triumph. “If this cup cannot pass by, but I must drink it, Your will be done”6.
· Why God’s will be done?
Prophet Daniel tells us why. “All who dwell on Earth count for nothing as He thinks fit… No one can arrest His hand, or ask Him: What have you done?”7
· Persevere in your creed of life to the end.
Christ persevered to the end, until all were fulfilled. The fact expressed in Christ’s last words on the Cross: “It is fulfilled”8. Indeed Christ demonstrated the commitment we should have to our creed of life.
Perhaps you have no creed of life, have one. Perhaps you have it already, is it christian? Our philosophy of life must be permeated love. Mother Therese warned us that, “it is not how much we do, but how love we put into what we do.” The creed of life is your system of ideals, principals to introduce unity and order into your growing personality. Without a creed of life you would suffer from intellectual confusion, a lack of inner peace. You would find yourself feeling that life was without meaning or purpose. Have a creed of life and be committed to it, Christ is our model.

13. AMABARA GOBUZARWA GASHOBORORAKI?
Okuruga orwo twakwete edini, abana omu maka g’Abakristu bahabwa amabara omuli Batisimu. Kuruga aho nirwo tubona omuntu nayetwa amabara gabili. Eibara lya mbele liba lyobubatizibwa/ly’Obukristu. Aga kinyamungi entabuko yago ti Buhaya, mara gangi gaba gabatakatifu, anga gaba gakweteho engesho zirungi. Omu rubaju orundi, omuntu agira eibara lyobuzarwa. Amabara gobuzarwa gatabuka omurulimi rwa mbali omuntu alikutabuka. Abantu enyamungi tumanya amabara gaitu gobuzarwa hamoi naga abandi, kyonkai bake muno abalikushobokerwa ensimbagirizo anga enshonga zamabara gabo. Nawe, abagurusi abaruka amabara aga bagira ensimbagirizo yago, norwo tibakwasa kanya karungi kugaitoitora. Eki nikyo kiimukya orwoyoyo rwabana kwitoitora amabara gabo bali bonkai. 1) Ebitoitoro bye’ibara litakatifu lya Mungu: Aha tubona amabara nka Katonda, Ruhanga, Mukama, Rugaba nagandi gatyo agalikushoborora obukuru bwa wenene obutalengwa.
2) Engesho zirungi: Aha tushangaho amabara nka Kemilembe, Kokushubira, Kokugonza na Kebyera

5) Abakama n’emanzi zeirai: Eki kizora okwo omuzaire alikugondeza omwanawe obumanzi nkobwo omukama ogwo yagiraga. Aha nituhulira amabara nka Rugomora, Kintu, Kibi, Ntare, nb. 1) Kumanyisa omuntu omubandi: Eibara liba bushoborozi bwa mbele bw’omuntu, kimanyiso, mara nilyo lishobora kumugambaho nka wenene omu bantu abandi. Liba kabonero, orwo ligambwa tumanya alikwetwa nohai. Ogu guba muruka gwa buli ibara lyona lyona. Kukiraho eibara lyobuzarwa limanyisa omuntu n’obuzarwabwe - oruganda, orulimi anga ekisibu mbali alikutabuka.
2) Kutwijukya ebyakabaileho, ebitalihwa igamba: Nka abakama beirai, abagurusi, ebyemba, amagenyi n’ebyera, ebyebugo byeirai hamoi n’ebindi ebyo tulikubona buli kiro, nkokwo byaba byashoboroirwe.
3) Okukuza nokugendeleza orulimi rwaitu: Omukugagamba anga kugahenjuza tuba nitukuza orulimi rwaitu, nangu tubasa kuzazamu ebigambo ebindi. Kandi omukutora amabara genganda ezindi tuba nitutumbisa ebigambo omurulimi rwaitu.
4) Kuleta obumoi nobunywanyi: Eki kishobora kwija kiti:-
- Orwo abantu abalikwetwa eibara limoi bamanyangana, Kiba kyokushemereza muno, betangana banywanyi.
- Mbali abantu b’entabuko emoi anga orulimi rumoi batanganwa harai nobuzarwa bwabo: Nka omubutale anga ensi zenjai. Amabara gobuzarwa nigo gabamanyisa, okwo bali bamoi, bakagaanira, bakashemererwa nokunywana.
- Abantu abo endimi zitalikushushana nentabuko ti zimoi, Kyonkai kuruga eirai abantu b’endimi ezo basilibyangana. Omu kusilibyangana baiyamu obunywanyi. Nka Nshomile kutanganwa na Kalimanzira.
5) Kwolekeza abana emyeto yabo: Okukiraho mbali abazaile baba nibainegeza abana kukora ebilikushusha amabara gabo. Nka Mwombeki (kwombeka), Mukiza (mutambi wabarwaire), Kashumba (musaserdoti anga mushumba) etc.
6) Okwimukya nokukuza engesho zirungi: Amabara nka Kokushubira, Kengonzi, Kemilembe nagandi gatyo, gasindika abazaire kwegesa abana kurora engesho zirungi nka amabara gabo, nabana bonene bakura nibamanya oburungi bwamabara ago, bagonza kuba kwo.
7) Okwegesa emilimo: Gatanga obunafu norweganyo omubantu. Amabara nka Muteganya, Ndimirwohi na Nshakirwohi gasindika abantu kwetekereza nokugonza kweyemamu, kukora emilimo.
8) Kikwato kyokuhana nokutaisa emize mibi: Tulebe amabara nka, Tibekebuka, Tibemanya (nka abenagaija bakalemwa kweyombekela), Banturaki (kuhana abarwanisa abandi kushai) etc. Agandi gahoza endwano n’emishango (gagambirwe)
C. Abahandiki abandi nibakigambaho batai?
Bangi nibagamba okwo gamanyisa obuntu. Twegeho bike omu bahandiki abo. Bona bakahandika omu rujungu (Orungereza) kyonkai ndalenga kubiteka omu ruhaya.
1) …Eibara lishoborora byona ebikweteho omuntu. Ti kishweko ky’aheru kushai, shana liba mazima g’omuntu… Omu bantu (Bantu people), eibara ligendanwa n’omuntu, liba limoi n’obuntu kandi ti itunga kushai, nk’okwo ndikweyeta ‘Kalyezibwaki’, omu bushobokerwa bw’abantu ti kugira oti eibara eli itunga lyange, shana omu katima kezile, nyeyolekya obuntu, okuba eibara eli ni ‘nyowe.’1
2) …Omu mabara gazora okwo omuntu alikushobokerwa ebimwataine. Omu bakiga (Uganda ) amabara nka Tibanyendera/Tibenderana, anga omu Bahaya (Tanzania ), Tibendakarungi, gashoborora ebyorwango.2
3) …Okuruka eibara kuhingura okweta omwana kushai, kulironda omu rujuru anga kulyebumbira. Kyonkai guba mugenzo “…gwokushobokerwa, kushurura n’okuboneramu eibara elisaine, kubasa kwitoitora ‘Obuntu’ bw’omwana.3
4)…Omu bubonero 16, omwendai nigwolekya okwo amabara gagendanwa kwokwokwo n’ebikwete obuntu. Kityo abazaire baikara nibaragirwa kuruka abana babo nk’okwo balikugonza ka barora.4
D. Ebibulia netwegesa etai?
Omurago ogweirai nk’oguhya, Ebibulia nezora okwo eibara lishutura obuntu bwa mukama walyo, emirorere, emitonderwe anga omulimo gwe. Eibara “Adamu” (Adamah ) nikwo kugira oti “kitondwa ky’eitaka” (Emb.2:7), kandi Ruhanga ati “Okw’oli itaka oligaruka omw’itaka.” (Emb.3:19). “Adamu aruka mukaziwe eibara Eva, orw’okuba niwe yabaire nyina abarora bona.” (Emb.3:20). ‘Hawwah’ nikwo kugamba oti ‘kurora’. Eibra lya Kristu nalyo nilizora okwo Katonda alikuhanga k’omwana arukwa okwo kisanire emirorere ya wenene. “Leba omubikira azare omwana w’obwojo, amwete Immanueli (nikwo kugamba oti Ruhanga ali hamoi na ichwe)…” (Is.7:14–16) “Arazara omwana w’obwojo, oramweta Yezu, okuba alirokora abantu omumafu gabo.” (Mt.1:21). Okuhindulira omuntu eibara kuba kumuhindulira emirorere, eikora anga engoma; kumutendekera omulimo oguhya. “Eibara tokyetwa Aburamu, orayetwaga Aburahamu, okuba nkutaileho kuba ishe amahanga gangi.” (Emb.17:5). “Kandi mukazi wawe tokimweta Sarai, okuba eibara lye arabaga Sara, … abe nyina amahanga, n’abakama bago balitabuka ahali wenene.” (Emb.17:15–16). Yezu ka yahaire Simoni engoma yamuha n’eibara elihya. “…Oli Petro, mara aha rwazi oru nditekaho enteko yange… Ndakuha enfunguruzo z’obukama bw’omwiguru, ekyo olikakoma omunsi kirakomwaga n’omwiguru…” (Mt.16:18–19). Endagiliro eza ngeli egi zili zingi muno omu Bibulia ntakatifu, ezilikwolekya okwo eibara lishana mukama walyo.
E. Amabara Gobuzarwa, gashobora kuterana Abantu?
Inya, gashobora kusosora emirembe n’okuleta endwano omu maka n’enganda. Eki kishobora kwija mbali abantu abandi baruka amabara agalikwoleka enzigu, ebijumi, ebigeyo nokutera abandi emiizo. Agandi gaimukya ensika ezilayebekire omu bantu. Tuhenjuzeho gake.
1) Byensika, Babingimba, Nkabyesiza, Bagaya na Kalibashubaho. Amabara aga, okwo galikuhonjanyia nikishobeza kugashanga omubana b’eka emoi! Nigazora akalikuruga aha mutima gwomuntu, kutera abanobi ba wenene emiizo. Mara amabara aga ngeri egi gali omu maka gaitu Buhaya! Agandi ni:
2) Bakanyoma, Bampaira, Nkabamanya na Bakagorwaki.
3) Mboya, Mboyerwa na Nshonizohai etc.
Nitubona okwo abantu babasa kwimukya enshengo omu kuruka amabara gokukiniika abandi. Akaze aka tikaimukya bibi kushai, kaimukya n’enzigu ezikabigendamu. Isi oku tikwo kuterana nokusosora abantu? Nikwo, nangu kwita emirembe. Ekya kabili, akaze k’okuruka amabara g’ebijumi kasikisa endwano zabazaire omu bana. Abana bashengangana orw’enshonga y’ensika ezo batamanya mbandizo, nangu ezi ziba zikazire kushagaho, okuba zilimu akabonero akatalikuchweka, niko mabara gabo bonene. Kwakwo twijuke okwo eibara libi lita nyinalyo. Omwana ‘Lyaki’ omukama akamwasha enshonga yeibara libi! Ninkubaza eibara oti “Lyaki?”
F. Isi ebi byona tubyegerehoki?
Omuntu agira ekitinwakye. Kisaine kwakwo amabara gabantu golekye ekitinwa ky’obuntu, gashoborore ebigiro n’ebitekerezo ebisaine abantu. Omuntu tarangisibwa bijumi, ndwano, nzigu anga bigeyo. Kandi eibara litaba kyebugo kya kweshutura n’okugayiramu abandi. Twijuke okwo eibara libi lita nyinalyo. Kuruka omwana eibara lyokumugoora, kumushonaaza, anga kumuterana n’abantu, oba nomusikisa obushasi n’okumukomera empanika yemiramo.Twijuke kwakwo okwo omuzaire murungi niwe olinya asikisa abana ebirungi; kubalera kurungi, kubegesa ebigiro birungi hamoi n’okuturage n’abatani. Mara ebi nibyo bijuna abana omu burora bwabo bwona. Kizoora okwo’muzaire aba atezire omubitekerezo n’omubikorwa, kujumira banu omu kuruka abana amabara. Omuzaire owa ngeli egyo tashobora kweza banabe mubitekerezo n’omubikowa. Kityo bakura bataina ngesho zirungi, eki nakyo kibaima egoshoko. Tubirundanise tuti kisaine kwetekereza muno n’okuhenjuza kurungi orwo tuba nituruka abana amabara. Eki kilatuha amazima okwo amabara gotulikweta nigatusindika omuburora burungi, bw’engonzi, obumoi n’emirembe. Amabara g’obuzarwa gaba mpanika y’abantu.
Kisaine buli muntu kugibiika n’okugilinda enzira kugishumikijanyia n’ebyakubasa kwinegeza endwano n’obutenderana. Orwo abana balasika empanika z’ebiraba birungi balabasa kuzitumbisa n’ebigiro birungi. Aho amabara garungi galaba kikwato kimoiyo, ky’okwombeka eihanga lirungi, abantu barungi n’oburora burungi. Egi niyo goshoko.
